The Challenge

The client was having challenges finding attractive revenue generating global assets to acquire.

What Did Shadow Lake Do?

  • Shadow Lake Group did a global search and personalized outreach for potential drugs that might be a good financial fit for the client
  • Shadow Lake Group identified a drug that a company (Seller) might be open to selling, but the Seller made it quite clear that it had an established strategy of only divesting regionally and that a Global transaction was not an option
  • Through extensive negotiations directly between Shadow Lake Group and the Seller, the Seller agreed to divest the Global Rights for the drug.  This was an incredible hurdle to overcome because no-one on the BD team Globally had ever been given clearance for a Global divestment like this
